Terms of Service
The agreement between you and setdarts s. r. o. for using SetDarts.

Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SetDarts websites and apps and all related features (the “Service”), provided by setdarts s. r. o., Andovská 11437/47, 940 02 Nové Zámky, Slovakia (IČO 56 455 526). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or older if required by the laws of your country, to create an account. If you are under that age, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@setdarts.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Venue tablets paired as scoring boards use device authentication and act under the organizer who paired them.
The Service
SetDarts lets organizers run darts competitions — tournaments (round-robin and elimination), points and team leagues, and team ties — and lets players score games, play friends and online, join events and track their statistics. Results and standings sync live across phones, venue boards and public views. We may add, change or remove features to improve the Service.
Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- submit false results or tamper with scoring, standings or another user’s games;
- access accounts, devices or data without authorization, or probe or disrupt the Service’s security;
- upload malware, scrape at scale, or overload our infrastructure;
- harass, abuse or impersonate others, or post unlawful or offensive content;
- copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service except as these Terms allow.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit — event names, team and player details, and gameplay data. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including showing results, standings and stats to other participants and on public event, live and leaderboard views. You are responsible for having the right to submit any personal data of others (for example players you register), and for informing them as required.
Plans & payment
Parts of the Service are free; others may require a paid plan or subscription. Where a plan is paid, the price, billing cycle and what’s included are shown before you buy. Fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of VAT as indicated at checkout. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores’ terms, and are billed and refunded through them. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started; you can cancel a subscription to stop future renewals.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect. Where a right of withdrawal applies to digital services, you acknowledge that by starting to use a paid feature immediately you may lose that right once the service has been fully performed.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and the “SetDarts” name, is owned by setdarts s. r. o. and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (such as app stores, hosting and analytics providers) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying official competition results; SetDarts is a tool to help run events, not a substitute for an organizer’s judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, setdarts s. r. o. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction — this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
